❓ How to use — a practical 2-minute workflow
- Drop in a song. You instantly get a complete music video cut to its beats, builds and drops. Press Space anytime to play / pause.
- Not the right vibe? Hit 🎲 Re-roll for a completely different look — as many times as you like. Anything you've tweaked by hand is kept.
- Make it yours. Click 🎞 Add your footage and drop in clips or photos. In Your footage, give each clip more or less screen time. Choose the Footage only scene pack to use nothing but your own material.
- Shape the mood. Pick a Scene pack in the sidebar, then fine-tune any part of the video: select it on the timeline and drag its Intensity / Color mood / Footage sliders — the preview updates live while you drag.
- Want your footage to look like your footage? The sidebar's Effects panel has two separate dials. Beat impact is the pump, shake and drop flash — the video moving with the music. Distortion & color is the melt, recolor, trails, fringe, glow, grain and poster — the stuff that changes the picture itself. Pull the second one to 0 (or press 🧼 Clean picture) and your clips and photos play exactly as shot, while the cuts, crossfades and on-beat kicks all keep working.
- Nail the big moments on the timeline under the video. Gold diamonds are drops — the flash-and-slam moments. Drag one onto the exact hit (it snaps to beats), double-click to add one, select + Delete to remove. Teal lines are scene changes — drag to move them.
- Style each part separately. Click a teal line (or shift-click anywhere on the timeline) to select that stretch of video — its settings appear under the video: pick its visuals, its transition, and its effects. Both effect families get their own amount there, so you can keep one chorus distorted and leave everything else clean — a part you set keeps its value even when you move the global sliders. Want more or fewer scene changes? Use the Scene changes slider, shift+double-click the timeline right where you want a new one, or ✂ Split / ⇤ Merge from the part's editor. Each part also has its own Intensity / Color mood / Footage sliders.
- Optional — dial the drama. Press 〰 Build-ups on the video and draw: above the dashed line makes the picture tighten and race harder before drops; below keeps it calm.
- Ship it. Pick where it's going (YouTube, TikTok / Reels, Instagram…) and hit ⬇ Export. 💾 Save project keeps all your tweaks for another session.
Build-up drama. The purple wave is the music tensing up before each drop — the picture tightens and speeds up with it. Draw above the dashed line to make that more dramatic, below to calm it down.
